3 Delights rice with Guillermo

Guillermo, from the Lumbre Restaurant in Valladolid, shared with us this delicious and pocket friendly recipe.

Ingredients

  • Rice
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic clove
  • Half onion
  • Half red, green and yellow paprikas
  • Grated carrot
  • Soy sprouts
  • Eggs
  • Chives
  • Soy sauce

Steps

  1. Clean the rice to remove some of the starch
  2. Heat a pot with some olive oil
  3. Mince a garlic clove and add it to the pot
  4. Add the rice to the pot and stir it for 2 minutes
  5. Add a pinch of salt
  6. Add water and peas
  7. Let it boil, once it starts, lower the fire and cook for 14 minutes
  8. Cut the vegetables in thin slices
  9. Sauté at 200Cº. Don’t shake it or add salt yet. Wait for 30 seconds to a minute.
  10. Add carrot and soy sprouts
  11.  Beat eggs with chives and cook thin like a crepe. Slice them.
  12. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with some soy sauce
  13. Plate and enjoy.
